alltray software package provides Dock any program into the system tray, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install alltray
alltray is installed in your system.
Make ensure the alltray package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep alltray *
You will get with alltray package name, version, architecture and description in a table
